Product Description for Wiro Wall Calendar Printing | Custom Calendars

Wiro wall calendar printing uses metal wire loops to hold the monthly pages together while allowing each sheet to turn cleanly. A hanging provision allows the calendar to be mounted on a wall and remain practical throughout the year.

Each month can feature different imagery, products, campaigns or branded messages alongside the date grid. The format is well suited to businesses that want useful promotional material with long-term visibility in offices, homes or customer premises.

Keep important content clear of the punched binding edge and hanging feature when preparing artwork. Because calendars are date-sensitive, schedule design, proofing and production well before the intended year begins.

  • Wiro Bound drilled calendars must contain 28 pages.
  • Include 3mm bleed on all sides.
  • Safe zone must be 15mm on the binding edge and 10mm on all other edges.
  • Supply as a CMYK PDF, preferably in PDF/X1a format
  • Outline or embed fonts
  • 300dpi resolution

Technical specifications – wiro wall calendar printing

Construction: Wiro-bound wall calendar with drilled hanging provision. Current product range information includes A4, A5 and selected square/portrait/landscape formats.

Pagination: Current drilled wiro calendar specification uses 28 pages. Pages are arranged to work with the hanging/binding configuration and should be supplied in the required running order.

Paper: Current wiro calendar ranges use selected 170gsm or 200gsm silk inner papers with premium cover options, subject to the live product configuration.

Artwork: CMYK PDF, preferably PDF/X-1a, 300dpi, fonts outlined or embedded and 3mm bleed.

Safe areas: Maintain 15mm clearance at the binding edge and 10mm on other edges. The hanging/drill zone must also remain clear of important content; use the exact template for hole location.

Design: Keep dates and small copy away from the wire and drill area. Test calendar readability at final print size, especially where photography sits behind date grids.

Production note: Do not add your own simulated drill holes or wiro marks to printable artwork. These are production features defined by the template and finishing process.
