Technical specifications – personalised desk pad printing

Construction: Pad of repeated printed sheets glued together along the designated edge for tear-off use. The same design is normally printed on every sheet.

Artwork quantity: Supply one page of artwork only unless the selected product explicitly supports changing sheets. That single design is repeated throughout the pad.

Printing: Full-colour CMYK on writable uncoated paper suitable for notes, planning and everyday desk use.

Artwork: Supply a CMYK PDF at 300dpi with fonts outlined or embedded and 3mm bleed on all sides. Keep important content clear of the glued edge and trim.

Writing areas: Avoid heavy dark backgrounds in areas intended for handwriting. Fine grey rules and grids should have sufficient contrast to print consistently while remaining unobtrusive beneath pen/pencil writing.

Binding/gluing: The glued edge creates a small functional area where sheets are attached. Keep critical logos, dates and form fields away from this edge to avoid interference during use.

Production note: If the pad includes a planning grid, calendar or dates, verify all repeated content before approval. A single error will be reproduced on every sheet in every pad.
