Product Description for Foil Business Cards | Metallic Foil Detail

Foil Business Cards are designed for businesses that want a compact contact piece with a distinctive material or finish. This product uses printed card with a separate metallic foil finishing layer; foil colours vary by option. The format is selected business-card sizes.

Full-colour printing keeps logos, contact details and supporting graphics sharp, while the selected stock or finish determines the tactile character of the card. Keep essential contact information highly legible and avoid crowding the layout simply because the format is small.

For consistent results across staff or departments, use a controlled template with fixed logo, type and safe-area positions. Where a specialist effect is selected, treat that effect as a separate physical finishing layer and design within normal registration tolerances.

Supply print-ready artwork as a high-resolution PDF at 300dpi in CMYK (FOGRA39 where a profile is required). Embed all fonts or convert text to outlines/curves. Add 3mm bleed on every trimmed edge and extend backgrounds and images fully into the bleed. Keep important text, logos, QR codes and other critical content at least 3mm inside the finished trim. Crop marks are not required when the PDF is supplied at the correct trim size with bleed.

For foil, supply conventional CMYK print pages followed by separate effect-mask pages as required by the product template. Build the mask as solid black vector artwork, keep all effect areas completely inside the 3mm safe area, and do not run foil across folds or perforations because the finish can crack or flake. Keep the CMYK artwork and mask geometry aligned exactly.
