Technical specifications – personalised notepad printing

Construction: Stack of printed writing sheets glued along one edge so individual pages can be removed. Size, sheet count and paper weight depend on the selected notepad specification.

Printing: Full-colour CMYK on uncoated writing paper. The surface is intended for handwriting with common pens and pencils.

Artwork: Supply a CMYK PDF at 300dpi with all fonts outlined or embedded. Include 3mm bleed on every trimmed edge and keep key content clear of the glued edge and safe margins.

Page design: Use light backgrounds in writing areas and make rules/grids sufficiently visible without overwhelming handwritten notes. Avoid placing essential information directly at the top binding/glue line.

Repeated artwork: Standard personalised notepads normally repeat the approved layout on each sheet. If variable or multi-page pad content is required, confirm that it is supported before preparing multiple artworks.

Colour: Uncoated writing paper produces a softer, less glossy result than coated paper. Very heavy ink coverage can reduce the practical writing area and may affect how quickly some pens dry.

Production note: Verify phone numbers, URLs, QR codes and any dated information carefully because the same artwork is repeated across a large number of sheets.
