Product Description for A4 Continuation Sheets | Blank or Printed Stationery

A4 continuation sheets are designed for the second and subsequent pages of letters, reports, contracts, tenders, proposals and other multi-page business documents. They allow the paper and presentation of later pages to remain consistent with your first-page letterhead without having to repeat the full letterhead layout.

Choose between blank continuation sheets or single-sided printed continuation sheets. The blank option is supplied completely unprinted and is ideal when you want subsequent pages to use exactly the same paper stock as your letterheads before adding document content through your own office printer. The single-sided printed option allows you to add simplified branding, such as a logo, header, footer or other fixed corporate elements, while keeping the main document area clear for overprinting.

Both options are A4 size and available on 90gsm or 120gsm Premium Smooth White Uncoated paper. The uncoated surface is suitable for normal office document use and can be overprinted using compatible laser or inkjet printers; always check the paper-weight limits and settings recommended by your printer manufacturer.

For a coordinated stationery system, match the continuation-sheet paper weight to your corresponding letterheads. If you select the printed option, keep the design simpler than the first-page letterhead so the later pages remain clear, professional and easy to read.

Blank continuation sheets:

  • No artwork is required if you select the blank continuation-sheet option.
  • Single-sided printed continuation sheets:
  • Finished size: A4, 210 x 297mm.
  • Supply one print-ready CMYK PDF at 300dpi.
  • Outline or embed all fonts.
  • If backgrounds, colour blocks or images run to the edge of the sheet, include 3mm bleed on all sides and extend those elements fully into the bleed area.
  • Keep logos, text, page references and other important elements at least 3mm inside the trim; 5mm is preferable where the layout allows.
  • Use high-resolution images and avoid supplying RGB artwork where accurate printed colour is important.
  • Only one side is printed on the single-sided continuation-sheet option.

Technical specifications – A4 continuation sheets

Finished size: A4, 210 x 297mm.

Paper: Choose 90gsm or 120gsm Premium Smooth White Uncoated paper. Both are designed for business stationery and can be matched to corresponding letterhead stocks where a consistent multi-page document set is required.

Product options: Blank Continuation Sheet or Single Sided Continuation Sheet. The blank option is supplied with no print. The printed option carries one custom design on one side only.

Printing: The single-sided option is produced in full-colour CMYK. The reverse remains unprinted. The blank option contains no supplier-applied print.

Office overprinting: The smooth uncoated surface is suitable for subsequent document printing using compatible laser or inkjet equipment. Always confirm that your office printer supports the selected 90gsm or 120gsm stock and use the correct media setting to reduce feeding, fusing or drying issues.

Artwork for the printed option: Supply one print-ready CMYK PDF at 300dpi with fonts outlined or embedded. Where artwork runs to the sheet edge, include 3mm bleed on all sides. Keep important text, logos and fine rules at least 3mm inside the trim, with approximately 5mm preferred for a more forgiving layout.

Artwork for the blank option: No artwork file is required.

Design consideration: Continuation-sheet artwork is normally simpler than the first-page letterhead. Headers, footers, logos or subtle brand elements should leave a generous central area for variable document content added later.

Paper matching: For the closest visual and handling match across a multi-page document, use the same available paper weight for the letterhead and continuation sheets. Because the stock is uncoated, it remains more suitable for office overprinting and handwriting than coated silk or gloss paper.
