Product Description for Pulp Postcards | 380mic Uncoated Card

Pulp Postcards provide a substantial card format for direct mail, invitations, thank-you cards, appointment reminders and promotional campaigns. The current product uses 380mic pulp card with a rough-touch uncoated surface, giving the finished card a distinct surface character for photography, illustration and brand messaging.

Postcard sizes and print-side options are selected in the live configuration. If the reverse needs handwriting, addressing or variable information, leave suitable uncoated/unlaminated areas and check that the chosen finish accepts the intended pen, label or overprint process.

Keep postal marks, addresses and essential information away from trimmed edges. When using a heavily coated or laminated face, remember that shine and tactile finish can affect both readability and writability.

Supply print-ready artwork as a high-resolution PDF at 300dpi in CMYK (FOGRA39 where a profile is required). Embed all fonts or convert text to outlines/curves. Add 3mm bleed on every trimmed edge and extend backgrounds and images fully into the bleed. Keep important text, logos, QR codes and other critical content at least 3mm inside the finished trim. Crop marks are not required when the PDF is supplied at the correct trim size with bleed.

Pulp Postcards | 380mic Uncoated Card FAQs

The current specification uses 380mic pulp card with a rough-touch uncoated surface.

Print-side options depend on the selected postcard configuration. Supply front/back pages in the correct order for double-sided work.

Uncoated or unlaminated surfaces are the easiest to write on. Gloss or laminated faces are less suitable for normal pens, so plan the writing/address side accordingly.

Add 3mm bleed to all trimmed edges and keep important content at least 3mm inside the cut.

Supply a 300dpi CMYK PDF with fonts embedded or outlined and high-resolution images.

Lamination improves handling and light-moisture resistance but does not fully seal cut paper edges, so the postcard should not be treated as waterproof.
