Technical specifications – printed bottle boxes

Construction: Die-cut folding carton supplied flat and assembled by interlocking/folding the panels. Current bottle-box range includes handle and slip-case styles designed around specific bottle dimensions.

Current external size options include approximately: 180 x 90 x 382mm with handle; 80 x 80 x 310mm box; 83 x 83 x 322mm slip case; 90 x 90 x 330mm box; and 90 x 90 x 422mm with handle. Match the carton to the actual bottle before ordering.

Material: Approximately 280gsm double-sided glossy cardboard on the current specification.

Printing and finish: Full-colour CMYK. Exterior lamination options include matt or gloss, with an unlaminated option also available. Lamination applies to the supported exterior faces and changes scuff resistance and sheen.

Artwork: Use the exact bottle-box dieline. Supply a CMYK PDF, preferably PDF/X-1a, with fonts outlined/embedded, 300dpi imagery and 5mm bleed. Keep critical content clear of cuts, folds, locking tabs and handle openings.

File control: Supply a template-overlay file for checking plus a clean production file without visible dielines where requested. Do not flatten cutting guides into the printable design.

Packing note: Boxes are supplied flat. Carton dimensions are external; internal usable space is smaller because of board thickness, folds and locking structures. Always check the actual bottle diameter/height and closure before selecting the box.
