Product Description for Foiled Swing Tags | Metallic Foil Custom Tags

Foiled swing tags combine printed product information with a metallic finishing layer for retail, fashion, gifts and premium merchandise. The current product is available on 400gsm silk card with selected matt or soft-touch lamination.

Metallic foil is applied to one side in current colour options including gold, silver, copper, red and green. Tags can be square or rounded-corner formats and use an approximately 6mm drilled hole for attachment. Cord is not included in the standard printed tag.

Foil should be used selectively for logos, short headings and simple graphic accents. Keep foil shapes sufficiently bold and allow for normal registration tolerance between the printed artwork and finishing layer.

Supply CMYK print artwork with 3mm bleed at 300dpi and fonts embedded or outlined.

Create the foil effect as a separate solid-black vector mask using 100% K. Keep foil elements inside the safe area and align the mask exactly with the intended print artwork. Allow around ±0.5mm finishing registration tolerance.

Use approximately 10pt minimum type and 1pt minimum line weights for foil where possible. Do not use gradients or raster effects in the foil mask. Follow the exact page order required for front, back, foil and any blank pages.
