Technical specifications – triple layered business cards

Finished formats: Standard 85 × 55mm rectangle and selected 55 × 55mm square options.

Construction: Three-layer card with a coloured core sandwiched between two outer sheets, creating an ultra-thick edge profile. Outer faces may be white uncoated or brown Kraft depending on the chosen option. The visible centre layer provides the coloured edge effect.

Core colours: Multiple core colours are available; the current selector should be used for the exact range. Printed CMYK cannot exactly reproduce the physical core colour, so any on-page colour matching should be treated as approximate.

Printing: Full-colour CMYK, single- or double-sided. Selected cards can be finished with matt, gloss or soft-touch lamination; lamination is recommended on some constructions to protect heavy ink coverage.

Artwork: Supply a 300dpi CMYK PDF with 3mm bleed and fonts outlined or embedded. Keep text inside the safe area.

Edge design: The coloured core is visible only at the cut edge; it is not a printed border. Avoid artwork that relies on perfect alignment between a printed edge colour and the physical core.

Thickness note: Multilayer cards are considerably more rigid than standard business cards. They may not be suitable for every card holder, mechanical feeder or finishing process.
