Product Description for Gloss Flyers & Leaflets | High-Shine Printing

Gloss flyers and leaflets use a coated paper surface to create a smooth, reflective finish that gives photographs and saturated colours strong visual impact. They are a practical choice for retail promotions, food imagery, product launches, events and campaigns where images do much of the selling.

Current options vary by size and paper weight. Gloss is less suitable where extensive handwriting is needed, so choose bond or uncoated stock for forms, appointment details or pieces that will be written on regularly.

Under strong directional lighting, the reflective surface can introduce glare. Keep small text high contrast and avoid relying on subtle tonal differences for essential information.

Supply print-ready artwork as a high-resolution PDF at 300dpi in CMYK (FOGRA39 where a profile is required). Embed all fonts or convert text to outlines/curves. Add 3mm bleed on every trimmed edge and extend backgrounds and images fully into the bleed. Keep important text, logos, QR codes and other critical content at least 3mm inside the finished trim. Crop marks are not required when the PDF is supplied at the correct trim size with bleed.

Technical Specifications – Gloss Flyers & Leaflets

Material and finish: Coated gloss paper; exact gsm varies by chosen size. Full-colour CMYK, with single- or double-sided configurations according to the selected option.

Artwork: 300dpi CMYK PDF, fonts embedded or outlined, 3mm bleed on every trimmed edge and at least 3mm internal safe area.

Printing: Full-colour commercial print; single- or double-sided configurations vary by selected option.

Colour behaviour: Coated stocks give greater surface contrast; uncoated stocks absorb more ink and can appear softer. Specialist effects such as foil or Spot UV are physical finishing layers and require dedicated mask artwork.

Availability varies by finish, but the wider flyer range includes standard A sizes, DL and selected square formats. Use the live product options for the exact combinations currently offered.
