Product Description for Pulp & Uncoated Flyers | Tactile Printing

Pulp Flyers & Leaflets are supplied through the current uncoated flyer range, giving campaigns a natural, tactile alternative to coated silk or gloss paper. The uncoated surface has lower sheen and suits restrained branding, editorial layouts, invitations and promotions where the feel of the stock forms part of the presentation.

Colours can reproduce more softly on uncoated paper because ink interacts differently with the surface than on a coated sheet. Strong contrast, generous type sizes and clean layouts work particularly well.

Exact paper weights are selected from the current product options at ordering stage, so artwork should be prepared for the chosen specification rather than relying on an historic pulp thickness description.

Supply print-ready artwork as a high-resolution PDF at 300dpi in CMYK (FOGRA39 where a profile is required). Embed all fonts or convert text to outlines/curves. Add 3mm bleed on every trimmed edge and extend backgrounds and images fully into the bleed. Keep important text, logos, QR codes and other critical content at least 3mm inside the finished trim. Crop marks are not required when the PDF is supplied at the correct trim size with bleed.

Technical Specifications – Pulp Flyers & Leaflets

Material and finish: Product specification: uncoated flyer/leaflet stock. Exact current gsm is selected from the live product options; do not rely on an historic pulp thickness specification.

Artwork: 300dpi CMYK PDF, fonts embedded or outlined, 3mm bleed on every trimmed edge and at least 3mm internal safe area.

Printing: Full-colour commercial print; single- or double-sided configurations vary by selected option.

Colour behaviour: Coated stocks give greater surface contrast; uncoated stocks absorb more ink and can appear softer. Specialist effects such as foil or Spot UV are physical finishing layers and require dedicated mask artwork.

Use the live product configurator and corresponding template for the exact size, stock and finishing combination ordered.
