Product Description for Bond Flyers & Leaflets | Uncoated Printing

Bond flyers and leaflets use an uncoated paper surface with a more natural feel than silk or gloss. The stock is particularly useful where recipients need to write, stamp or add notes, making it suitable for forms, response sheets, appointment information, educational material and practical business communications.

Because uncoated fibres absorb ink differently from coated paper, colours can appear softer and less glossy. That is part of the material character and should be considered when matching brand colours or reproducing dark photographic images.

Keep areas intended for handwriting relatively light and uncluttered. If maximum photographic punch is the priority, a silk or gloss stock is normally a better fit.

Supply print-ready artwork as a high-resolution PDF at 300dpi in CMYK (FOGRA39 where a profile is required). Embed all fonts or convert text to outlines/curves. Add 3mm bleed on every trimmed edge and extend backgrounds and images fully into the bleed. Keep important text, logos, QR codes and other critical content at least 3mm inside the finished trim. Crop marks are not required when the PDF is supplied at the correct trim size with bleed.

No. Standard paper and card flyers are not waterproof. Coatings or finishes may improve handling resistance, but exposed paper edges and uncoated areas can still absorb moisture.
