The available poster sizes and paper weights vary by material. Use high-contrast artwork and scale typography for the actual viewing distance. For fluorescent Day Glo stock, remember that the substrate colour becomes a strong visual part of the design; for coated stock, reflections from lighting can affect readability.

Standard poster papers are intended for suitable indoor or protected display unless the specific material is described as weatherproof. For prolonged rain or wet environments, specify a waterproof poster or rigid outdoor sign product instead.
