The current material specification is lightweight corrugated plastic, printable single or double-sided. Standard sizes and custom-shape options vary by board type. Correx is the lightweight short-term choice, Foamex combines low weight with a smooth display surface, while Dibond aluminium composite is the most robust option for longer-term signage.

For outdoor fitting, the substrate is only one part of the installation. Fixings, wind exposure, support spacing and local site conditions must all be appropriate for the finished board size. Keep important content clear of drill holes, cut paths and edges.
