Technical specifications – branded golf umbrellas

Product size: Large 30-inch golf umbrella. Current dimensions are approximately 100cm high with a 130cm open canopy diameter and a product weight around 480g.

Construction: Polyester canopy with a metal frame/rib system, wooden handle and automatic-opening mechanism.

Branding: Single-colour screen print on one supported canopy panel. Standard printable area is approximately 320 x 290mm.

Artwork: Supply vector artwork as a PDF using one approved spot/Pantone-style print colour. Outline/embed fonts and convert strokes to filled shapes where required. Raster photographs, gradients and multicolour artwork are not suitable for the standard single-colour screen-print process.

Detail limits: Use a minimum type size of about 8pt and avoid very fine lines, tiny gaps or tightly spaced elements. Screen-print ink can spread slightly on fabric, so give small negative spaces sufficient clearance.

Colour: Choose the print colour from the available production ink list. Pantone references are guides to ink selection; the perceived result is influenced by the canopy colour underneath.

Use: The large canopy provides greater coverage than a compact umbrella but should not be treated as windproof. Close the umbrella in severe wind or unsafe conditions to reduce stress on the frame.
