Product Description for Foamex Boards | 3mm & 5mm Printed Signs

Foamex Boards provide a rigid printed surface for lightweight indoor/outdoor display signs and wall-mounted graphics. The current material specification is Foamex/PVC foam board in 3mm or 5mm thicknesses. Full-colour graphics can be used for branding, directional information, promotional messages and photographic imagery.

Standard sizes and custom-shape options vary by board type. Correx is the lightweight short-term choice, Foamex combines low weight with a smooth display surface, while Dibond aluminium composite is the most robust option for longer-term signage.

For outdoor fitting, the substrate is only one part of the installation. Fixings, wind exposure, support spacing and local site conditions must all be appropriate for the finished board size. Keep important content clear of drill holes, cut paths and edges.

Use the exact artwork template for the ordered display size. Supply artwork in CMYK at the template scale and at the resolution specified by that template; where full-size artwork is requested, 300dpi is the preferred source resolution. Keep logos, text and other critical elements inside the template’s safe area and extend backgrounds into any stated bleed or hidden fitting area. Embed or outline fonts and supply a print-ready PDF. If a custom cut or drilled option is selected, use the product-specific cut/drill template and keep critical graphics clear of those paths.
