Product Description for DTF Transfers | Custom Heat Transfer Printing

DTF transfers provide ready-to-apply full-colour garment graphics without ordering a finished printed garment. Designs are printed onto transfer film so multiple logos, names or graphics can be arranged together on a gang sheet and heat-applied as required.

The current gang-sheet format is approximately 560 x 1000mm. DTF is suitable for common cotton, polyester and blended fabrics when applied correctly with a heat press. It supports detailed multicolour graphics and allows multiple transfer sizes to be arranged efficiently on one sheet.

Build artwork at final intended transfer size, maintain sufficient resolution and leave sensible spacing between individual designs. Application temperature, pressure and timing are critical to adhesion and wash durability.

Arrange artwork on the current approximately 560 x 1000mm gang sheet at final intended transfer size.

Supply high-resolution artwork, with raster content at least 300dpi where possible. Embed artwork correctly in the print-ready PDF and avoid low-resolution images enlarged beyond their native size. Leave enough spacing between separate transfers for cutting and handling.

Use transparent backgrounds where no printed background is required. Check fine lines and small text at actual transfer size before submission.

Technical Specifications – DTF Transfers

Format: Approximate 560 x 1000mm gang sheet.

Process: Full-colour direct-to-film transfer printing for later heat application.

Compatible Uses: Common cotton, polyester and blended garment fabrics, subject to material testing.

Artwork: High-resolution print-ready PDF; approximately 300dpi for raster content at final transfer size.

Application: Current guidance is approximately 150°C for 10–15 seconds at medium pressure around 3–4 bar.

Peel: Allow approximately three minutes cooling before removing the carrier, following the supplied process instructions.

Aftercare: Wait approximately 24 hours before washing; use a gentle wash around 30°C and avoid bleach/dry cleaning.

Testing: Always test press temperature, pressure and time on the actual garment where fabric composition or coatings are uncertain.
